If you have an Adobe ID you can sign in and download a full copy of CS2 along with a serial number, which together should allow reinstallation of the software without the activation process (for which the servers have now been turned off). Are we in no-man's land (e.g., like Windows XP users)? Will I have to deal with prompts to register and activate with serial number every time I open the program? Is it possible to actually register by phone? I know that Adobe took the CS2 server down, but am not sure what that means for people like me who are still trying to install and use the product. I tried to install CS2 on my new Windows 8.1 PC, and while the installation went OK, I was not able to register or activate with my license number.
